A competitive and level-headed attacking leg-spin bowler and lower-order batsman, I've proven myself as a key asset with the ball for a number of clubs throughout my career, contributing to succesful individual and team performances.
Having been fortunate to develop my skills early in Premier League and County Representative cricket for Essex, I've been able to draw on that to establish myself as a senior player, who is now hungry to test myself in another unfamiliar environment this winter as well as throwing myself fully into the culture of club life.
Currently playing for East Bergholt Cricket Club, Suffolk, in the Two Counties Division 1, having helped the team to promotion in 2024.
Ongoing 2025 Season:
- 22 Wickets @ 23.55, Best of 5-57.
- 105 Runs @ An Average of 26.25
2024 Season:
- 24 Wickets @ 20.46, Best of 8-42
As well as a full university cricket schedule, I joined Welton Cricket Club for their Yorkshire League North campaign.
During a Covid-impacted spell of three years, I helped the team to promotion from Division 1, taking 24 wickets at an average of 16.5 in 2019 before taking 16 wickets at 18s in a shortened 2020 season.
Alongside studies, I competed for the University 1st XI in all three of my seasons, receiving full sports colours. The season consisted of competitve fixtures in BUCS Northern Division 1, as well as a full pre-season schedule of fixtures against local premier league clubs.
I captained the side in my third year and had responsibility for running club training sessions, for all 4 XIs.
Alongside this, I worked as a net bowling at Headingley for touring international teams, spending time with the Australia, India, England & West Indies teams through the 2019 World Cup & Ashes Series.
As a 16 year old, I had my first full season of premier league cricket, competing for Frinton in the EAPL, taking 26 wickets at 23s before going on to further these numbers over the next two years.
Off the back of strong premier league performances for Frinton, I was selected to represent Essex across various County Age Group & Development XIs, regularly delivering the standout bowling performance across both one-day and three-day format matches in a side boasting many names who have gone on to have succesful careers.
In addition, Essex gave me the chance to spend winters on The Brian Johnstone ECB Elite Spin Programme, further developing my game.
