Daily equine husbandry, ensuring high standards of welfare and stable management through carrying out tasks such as mucking out, preparing feeds, refreshing water supply, maintaining clean hooves and well-conditioned fur. Tacked up horses safely and correctly for riding lessons and other exercise (including saddle adjustments for the riders). Led horses to and from stables, during parties and during beginner lessons whilst maintaining the safety of all parties. Monitoring horses' behaviour and physical health and reporting any concerns. General maintenance tasks such as general waste disposal, upkeep of the grounds and tack cleaning.

• Managed a large variety of equine, avian, exotics, livestock and small mammal species through husbandry tasks such as feeds, water refresh and spot/full cleans. Carried out a variety of record keeping tasks such as temperature and UV readings in the reptile room. Educated the public (including children and SEN visitors) on animal handling, demonstrating the correct techniques whilst simultaneously providing species-specific information and answering questions. Aided with the upkeep of the site, performing tasks such as tree cutting, ground levelling and general waste disposal. Further information on the species worked with upon request.
