Work history

Engineering Technician

Edinburgh Airport
Edinburgh
2018.09 - Current

I have worked at Edinburgh Airport since 2018, serving my 4 year apprenticeship here in which I gained my SVQF level 5 and HNC in electrical engineering. At the airport I’m part of an engineering shift team of 5, working in a fast-paced environment maintaining and responding to faults on a variety of electrical and mechanical systems. I am a motivated and reliable individual with hands on experience and I’m able to work effectively as part of a team, whilst also being comfortable working on my own when as and when required. I have experience working and communicating with different departments across the business to make sure the work operation runs smoothly. I perform effectively under pressure, responding quickly to diagnose and resolve critical asset breakdowns.
