A proactive and dedicated primary school teacher, committed to nurturing well-rounded children who feel supported to achieve their full potential both academically and pastorally across the primary curriculum and beyond. I have experience teaching across all primary year groups, from Reception to Year 6, gained through university placements and nearly four years of practical teaching in independent schools, both in England and internationally. I strive to create engaging, inclusive classroom environments where children feel valued, inspired, and motivated to learn. With a growth mindset and a genuine passion for education, I’m eager to continue developing my career in ways that positively impact both pupils and the wider school community.
During my tenure at Capital School in Bahrain, I had the enriching experience of teaching Year 4 students while simultaneously completing my ECT year. Working with EAL students, I successfully fostered a positive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrated diversity. Interacting with a diverse range of cultures allowed me to adapt my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student. This experience not only enhanced my ability to connect with students from various backgrounds but also deepened my appreciation for cultural sensitivity in education. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenges and rewards of working abroad, and it significantly contributed to my professional growth as an educator.
