In my current job I carry out domestic electrical installations including testing and inspection. I cover a wide range of repairs and installs on the current contract for Kier services working in the north kestevern district. I have vast experience with electrical condition reports which I carry out on a daily basis. I work closely with members of the Kier contract to complete EICR's and responsive repair work to the best of my ability. I am able to manage my work diary and report all information to the relevant people. Previously in my current employment I have worked on installation work on kitchen programs working as part of a team to complete daily tasks under tight time frames.
I began and completed my electrical apprenticeship with MB electrical gaining my full qualifications including AM2. In my role at this company I worked closely with experienced electricians on a wide range of roles. Repair work was carried out in student accommodation and regular electrical testing checks in domestic and industrial settings. This job gave me great experience on all aspects of electrical works including wiring systems, fire alarm installs, rewires, conduit and trunking support systems, electrical testing, general repairs and fault finding. This role gave me the platform to move forward and lone work to a high standard with great knowledge and confidence.
On leaving school I worked at my local Waitrose store part time whilst attending college during the week. Working in this role gave me good skills in terms of customer service and working as part of a team to achieve daily tasks. I was able to complete many college courses in my time at Waitrose Newark.
