Harrison Rutter

For my work experience, I worked at the Richmond Furniture Scheme a local charity.

My role was to;

• Process furniture that was donated to be sold online.
• This included cleaning the items, taking photos and uploading these onto the website to be sold.
• I was also involved in upcycling old furniture which included sanding and painting cupboards, shelves and tables.

During my Duke of Edinburgh Award I volunteered at Kneller Gardens Cafe in Twickenham. I worked there for 8 weeks every Sunday

I was responsible for the following:

• Serving customers ice creams
• Restocking fridges and snacks
• Cleaning tables and taking out rubbish
