Job overview

  • I was apart of the Newlay team for a period of 10 days as a work experience development plan where i was mentored and trained to be introduced into the work place, while with Newlay i learned the basic skills and routine of the trade , while i was here i shadowed one of the head engineers and was exposed to the work and skills in the industry , we went to several projects the company was developing, were i overviewed and was taught about the planning of a structured plan that was put into place to make the process run effectively , and also the complications that could occur and how to successfully operate around them , this significantly helped me develop my problem solving ,adaptation, perseverence and collaboration skills

I have been acknowledged through my school years as I have been a supporter and leader in many activities involving the care for younger pupils being a guardian looking after them, on separate occasions, for an example a trip to holy island with our S4 pupils I was a leader ensuring their safety and wellbeing, as the retreat leader I had to manage the children to make sure they had fun but also were safe developing my personal leadership and management skills.

I have been Acknowledged for my dedication to rugby with dates and lettering embroidery due to my XI appearance's for the senior team at St Aloysius College  throughout the 2024-2025 season
