Summary

I was a competent Bus Driver and I am actively seeking an opportunity to continue in that role and improve, with my knowledge and experience and exceptional work ethic and commitment to safety. I am keen to utilise 19 years of transport industry knowledge and experience to safely transport bus passengers around Kent. I should add that my Driver Qualification Card expires on the 19th January 2026.

I have driven buses in London for Stagecoach from 1994 to 1999 as well as in Ramsgate,Kent more recently, so I am already familiar with the routes and know many of the drivers. I also have 15 years experience on the railway so my customer service skills are excellent. The 3 years working with Royal Mail also helped me in a more personal interaction with the public and customers as well as working under pressure. I have a two year gap in my CV from November 2023 to present, as I was overseas in Jamaica looking after my elderly father and helping with the family business. Unfortunately, things didn't go quite to plan and I am eager and looking forward to getting back to work again in an industry I know well.
