  • Diagnose, develop and deliver a holistic health and wellbeing strategy for Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore), which aligns with the Mars Inc. Associate health and wellbeing strategy, and aims to address local health and wellbeing priorities through targeted high impact interventions.
  • Advance measurable associate health and wellbeing outcomes by improving the deployment of health fundamentals, reduce population health risks, increase energy levels, decrease absenteeism, costs and occupational illnesses and injuries.
  • Supports Mars sites across Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore), to achieve compliance with Mars standards and local legislative requirements relating to occupational health, health surveillance, injury management, and wellbeing.
  • Implement, manage and /or provide guidance on 3rd party contracts to support the health and wellbeing strategy (e.g. site nurses, training providers, health surveillance, AAP, travel health etc.)
  • Serve as a consultant and/or in a problem solving capacity with any health, wellbeing or medical issue elevated by Health Services team or multi-discipline personnel (e.g., HSE, HR).

  • Set the outline of the scope and KPI's for the OH services segment in the tender and ensure effective implementation for the Contracts & Procurement Team.
  • Co-Led the Digitalization of Shell Malaysia OH Services.
  • Co-led the development of the digital OH services delivery with identified OH partners and TPA for Shell Malaysia. This included creating workflows, processes, strategic plans, and providing advice to external stakeholder, to assure the quality of health and medical service support to the Shell Malaysia employees.
  • Responsible in setting the standards and advising the IT development team on Shell requirements in development of the OH Dashboard and Reporting.
  • Commissioning of EAP Provider for Shell Malaysia Employees.
  • Successfully collaborated with HR Policy Advisors and the Contracts & Procurement Team in providing technical inputs in selecting a new EAP provider for servicing Shell Malaysia Employees.
  • Collaborated with the Global 'Promote' Workstream Project Team as their key team member and produced content and care kit framework for the Health Promotion Module.
  • Co-designed, coordinated and delivered the Health Programmes under the Shell Malaysia HR Care Workstream.
  • Partnered with the Employee Resource Groups, Shell Malaysia D&I Focal & HR Team in creating a cost effective and synergistic Care Programme for Shell Malaysia Employees during COVID 19 Pandemic.
  • Successfully led and executed the Shell Malaysia Mental Health Strategy in collaboration with Shell Malaysia HR team resulting in increased usage of EAP services and buy in from the Leadership team.
  • Co-designed, presented and facilitated the Regional Shell Health Learning Sessions for Shell Health APAC Team that was later adopted by the APAC Health Promotion Leads.
  • Co-designed a fit for purpose Shell Malaysia Return to Work Guidance for Line managers and Employees in collaboration with the Shell Malaysia HR Team that serves to onboard 4 sites in Malaysia.
  • Designed and delivered COVID 19 Related Programmes for the DS Business Partners and External Stakeholders.
  • Designed the COVID 19 Awareness Video Presentation for Shell Malaysia Retailers resulting in a countrywide outreach to Shell Retail Site Heroes.
  • Delivered 7 Engagement sessions with the GM of Retail & National Sales Director Malaysia for all Shell Malaysia Retailers on Covid 19 Related Awareness to ensure business continuity during the pandemic.
  • Developed the guidance on Domestic Violence in context of Covid-19 which was adopted into the Global Shell Health Covid 19 Resources.

  • Collaborated with Real Estate, IT and HR Team to kickstart the Pilot Project of the Workplace Accessibility Programme in 2 locations in Malaysia.
  • Resulted in sustainable improved workplace access to Shell Malaysia Employees by ensuring reasonable workplace adjustments based on their needs and enabling them to function at their best.
  • Successfully led the delivery of all Malaysia's WPA Health Approvals and recommendation for 3 years meeting the targets and timeline set by the Global Programme Lead.
  • Coordinated and guided the execution of the Shell Malaysia Occupational Health Services via TPA.
  • Collaborated with HR Policy team in coordinating and executing the outsourcing of Fitness to Work & Shell Approved Medical Examiners Services to Third Party Administrator (MICARE).
  • Co-led the development of the digital OH services delivery with the Third-Party Administrator Development team.
  • Led the simplification of the Fitness to Work and Medical Surveillance Process in Shell Malaysia resulting in 3 key improvements: Elimination of the Shell Malaysia Preemployment Medical Process for new joiners resulting in cost savings.
  • Simplification of the Occupational Health Secured Digital Data Entry processes.
  • Standardization of the OH processes across DS, IG and US practices that resulted in smooth transitioning to TPA and process simplification.
  • Facilitated the Implementation of the Shell Malaysia Integrated Wellness Programme (My Health Matters) in Shell KL Office and SBO Wisma Shell.
  • Collaborated & provided technical support to the internal & external stakeholders to organise a sustainable and engaging health & wellness programme on site.
  • Coordinated the delivery of the programme via the digital platform & involved in the setting up of the digital integrated wellness platform.
  • The project resulted in measurable reductions in healthcare costs and incidence of chronic illnesses (-27%).
