  • As process supporter a big part of my role is to orchestrate smooth and efficient operation of all production areas and the 20 associates who operator within them to ensure best possible product quality is achieved and also daily manufacturing quantities are met.
  • All associate enquires / needs are met and resolved quickly so that they can carry out their daily work loads as efficiently and comfortably as possible. This can also involve on Job training as well as supporting continuous improvements, these are predominantly queried by associates working with processes on the shop floor and are often highlighted issue or changes that can be made to further streamline our processes. These continuous improvements can be further tested and implemented by myself and engineering staff in quick and timely fashion to bring these improvements into process.
  • Carrying out daily process confirmations whether they are proactive or reactive are vital to ensuring ongoing quality standards are being achieved and also that all associates are preforming to production standards that they have been trained to across all processes.
  • Conducted visual inspections of manufactured parts at key quality gates to ensure conformance of finished products with established quality standards.
  • Planning staff training sessions boosting skill development across entire workforce
  • Facilitated communication between management and production teams for transparent and seamless operations.

  • Covering absence with in this role has meant that I have had to train and become fully competent in all roles with in process areas on all production levels such as CNC milling, part painting and touch in, hand polishing and parts inspection.
  • In this role one other key responsibilities are to assist process supporters in training of all associates to required standards using TWI training (training with in industry) within all production areas. This allows for us to create team dynamics that can support moving associates within different processes to cover absence and prevent bottle necks within production.
