Key Achievement: Pioneering the first holistic policy evaluation for the organisation-wide sustainability strategy and providing evaluation recommendations that allowed my team to refine our strategic objectives to be more specific and measurable.
Key Achievement: developing and implementing a new regional sustainability communications strategy. This involved a complete overhaul of the previous methods, setting up a new Regional Green Champions network using regional stakeholders across a wide section of our business areas. This has been a successful forum which is now used to disseminate important information and as an additional arm of our corporate communications, allowing us to reach staff in all regions.
Key Achievement: Putting a robust governance structure in place with one of our key charity partners, which allowed us to anticipate funding reductions during the ODA pause and plan ahead to ensure that all of our programme activities were sufficiently funded without cancellations.
Key Achievement: Opening a new exploratory programme on democratic resilience in Taiwan, a country in which our organisation had never worked before. My planned activities for our scoping year were successful, allowing us to secure continued funding for a further 5-year programme extension.
