● Managed the Haematology clinical services, providing diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients with haematologic disorders, and maintained up to 85% retention.

● Mentored about 20 junior residents who trained through the Pathology laboratories from the family medicine, obstetrics, and internal medicine departments.

● Organized tutorials for family medicine junior residents before their fellowship examinations for over 5 years.

● Supervised 3 senior registrars' final dissertations for the Fellowship examinations, who developed an interest in Obstetric Haematology.

● I began and led the Hospital Thrombosis Prevention Committee for 7 years, trained clinical staff on thrombosis prevention, increased thrombosis risk assessment compliance in obstetric practice to 100% in 2 years and significantly reduced maternal mortality due to venous thromboembolism.

● Coordinated the Hospital's Oncology Multidisciplinary team, ensuring collaborative care and improved outcomes for oncology patients.

● Led the new Satellite Molecular Laboratory in the hospital, which was the focal point for Covid-19 testing in Rivers State, processing 120 - 250 samples daily during the pandemic.

● I served as the Head of the Department of Haematology for 8 years and increased the number of services and revenue generation in the service.
