Finance cover for all sites in the Northern Region for Elysium Healthcare. Covering sickness, vacancies and annual leave. Duties include handling of patient and petty cash and daily/weekly reconciliations using Sage that must be sent to the Finance Managers. Raising purchase orders on Unit 4 system and ensuring goods are receipted on the system. I also assisted the Finance Manager team with Webexpenses, creating accounts, ensuring payments were on the correct authorisation route etc.
I was the finance administrator for St Mary’s Hospital in Warrington. Daily tasks included handling of patient payments and uploading onto Sage. Issuing statements. I was in charge of handling physical cash for patients and petty cash. This was a daily occurrence and all transactions were entered onto spreadsheets and submitted to the finance managers. I generated purchase orders for site on Unit 4 and ensured all goods were receipted so the there would be no delay in the supplier receiving payment. I set up suppliers when requested, also on Unit 4.
