Hannah James

In school I was always the quite kid, but I realised that to better myself and my achievements I would have to overcome my fears of talking to people. I went out of my comfort zone with public speaking and taking on leadership roles like running for second year course representative and tutoring. As a result, I am proud to have developed strong communication and persuasion abilities. Since I was young I have always loved reading and writing stories across all genres and I wish to expand my adoration for stories in my work life as well as my personal life and surround myself with individuals who also love stories.

I earned a senior prefect role in sixth form

I am currently the head of English Literature second year at Bristol University

I have tutored children from year seven to eleven on reading and essay writing.

I have also completed an EPQ. My chosen topic was the modern Hollywood system and whether it was failing. The EPQ helped me to develop further my writing and critical thinking skills and demonstrate my project management skills.
