I am a qualified Veterinary nurse with 24 years experience; within this time , I have gained a vast amount of industry expertise, In general nursing, sole charge Night work, Emergency and critical care, Physiotherapy and Management.
I have the ability to cope with a demanding job and work well under pressure since I am an organised person with good management skills. I am confident working independently using my initiative, but I work well as part of a multidisciplinary team also.
I'm a non-judgemental person with a patient attitude and relate well to others. These are professional qualities that I feel benefit me in my career.
My most recent award was for being nominated by my workplace for the Brilliant People awards 2026
My biggest accomplishment was making Principle Nursing manager of an emergency clinic after only 6 months of being employed. Then watching it thrive and grow for the 6 years I worked there, gaining and sustaining a lot of member practices over the years through trust and dedication.
My personal accomplishment was passing my post graduate degree in physiotherapy and working the business alongside my Veterinary job.
I have worked in many areas of the industry, such as General day practice, Consult nurse, Emergency and critical care, Out of hours, Physiotherapy and Management. Not only did i want to learn all areas of the trade, I wanted to see how other clinics and people worked, so I registered as a locum and travelled around the UK and Australia, these are all great accomplishments.
It's an honour to feel like you make a difference everyday, to both animals and clients.
