My time at Next was a temporary position during the summer, however, I still learnt valuable skills.

I underwent safety training for moving heavy loads and working at heights among other safety protocols.

This is where I became proficient in working tills including cash and card transactions, and completing refunds.

This experience allowed me to first discover how to function as a team and achieve tasks to a high standard.

As a part-time Retail Team Member at Krispy Kreme I am trained in handling food safely and also providing drinks for customers, including coffees and milkshakes.

I am competently able to assist in customer transactions whilst appearing friendly and sociable.

As well as being able to simply complete transactions, I have learnt skills in upselling and providing more detailed and complex information regarding allergens and ingredients to customers.

I also have skills in correctly cleaning areas with food products as well as maintaining an organised and efficient work space.

My time working in a team has allowed me to have open and healthy communication skills.
