As a penultimate-year Law LLB student at Aston University, I am strongly motivated to pursue a legal career within PwC’s multidisciplinary environment. Through a blend of legal, financial, and commercial experiences, I have developed strong analytical reasoning, commercial awareness, and a collaborative mindset—qualities that align closely with PwC’s values of acting with integrity, working together, and making a positive impact. These experiences have strengthened my ability to solve problems creatively, communicate with clarity, adapt in fast-paced environments, and build relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I am eager to bring these skills to this Vacation Scheme, where I can contribute meaningfully while continuing to grow professionally.
During the one-week internship in the Property team, I strengthened key skills essential for delivering high-quality legal service, including analytical research, commercial understanding of the real estate sector, and effective communication. I undertook drafting tasks, researched new legislation, and attended meetings with solicitors and barristers discussing ongoing cases. This experience enhanced my ability to navigate complex information, collaborate with professionals, and maintain professionalism when interacting with challenging clients.
Key contributions and development:
Across this week-long programme, I built an understanding of how PwC integrates legal, financial, and advisory expertise. Later in the week, I collaborated with a group of four to analyse a business scenario and pitch an innovative solution tailored to individuals with disabilities. This experience refined skills that PwC values highly—teamwork, creative problem-solving, integrity in decision-making, and a commitment to delivering impactful solutions.
Key skills developed:
I enjoy football, Formula 1, and cricket, which contribute to my collaborative nature and team spirit. I also listen to legal and commercial podcasts and read regularly, helping me stay informed about developments affecting the legal sector and strengthening my analytical thinking.
Running an online business independently has enhanced my commercial awareness, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities. I made strategic decisions on pricing, sourcing, marketing, and customer service—developing a digital mindset and resilience. These skills translate strongly to PwC’s forward-thinking, tech-enabled legal services.
Alongside this, I regularly volunteer within my community, supporting charitable initiatives and political engagement. These roles developed my ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals and reinforced my commitment to integrity, empathy, and making a positive difference—values at the heart of PwC’s culture.
