AHU fault diagnostics and remediation across 210+ units — using BMS plant graphics, alarm data and sensor readings to identify faults, trace root causes and carry out remediation across fans, motors, dampers, coils and controls

• Diagnosed faults, inspected mechanics, and replaced components in pumps and motors across LTHW, CHW, and HWS circulation systems to maintain system efficiency.
• Serviced and inspected calorifiers and buffer vessels — HWS and HGT systems across critical and non-critical plant rooms, ensuring operational reliability.
• BMS monitoring across the wider estate — plant graphics, alarm review, setpoint checks and fault escalation to senior engineers
• Working to SFG20 and HTM standards across planned and reactive works, with a solid understanding of the SSOWs and RAMS required for both directly employed engineers and contractors operating on site
• Maintained safety standards by implementing permit-to-work and LOTO procedures in active clinical settings
• Embedded within the estates team at a large critical NHS site spanning 84+ plant rooms, working directly alongside lead engineers and supervisors across the full mechanical estate.
• Site awareness of medical gas systems — strict compliance with access and safety protocols at all times
• Sprinklers and fire alarms — planned inspection support, isolation, testing and reinstatement in line with site safety procedures
• CAFM job recording and PPM scheduling in line with site compliance requirements

Contributed to enhancement of PPM process by identifying improvements in AHU maintenance approach and collaborating with engineering team to strengthen task consistency and engineer knowledge capture.
