Skills

  • Research and Analysis: As part of my A Level Business Studies course, I learnt research and analysis skills through researching different companies, such as Merlin Entertainments, and I would analyse things such as their business aims, business organisation, management policies, competitors and more This can help me in areas such as researching information about anything the company would like me to do
  • Communication Skills: I learnt this as a result of being told to come up with a business proposal as a part of my A Level Applied Business course and I had to present this to my entire class and communicate with them about it This can help me in areas such as communicating with customers and with other members of staff which is key in a working environment
  • Project management skills: I learnt this through the fact I was told to come up with multiple projects and analyse multiple projects in my Business Studies A Level course in which I learnt things such as business planning, risk management, and monitoring progress to ensure successful outcomes
  • Problem Solving: I learnt this through the fact I would assess case studies and analyse what the problems were in a certain company and come up with a way to resolve the issues This can be a useful trait of mine as in the retail industry I would be able to come up with solutions for problems that I encounter

  • Digital creator for multiple companies where I create digital art. This has allowed me to develop skills such as audience engagement, marketing strategies and better communication skills through being able to work with different people

  • Named as one of the best students in my entire business class
