Summary

PhD-trained cancer biologist with expertise in investigating treatment response and resistance mechanisms using CRISPR-Cas9, qPCR, and molecular cloning. Experienced in applying a range of cellular and molecular techniques, including immunofluorescence, western blotting, and functional assays, to study pathway-driven responses in cancer models. My work has developed a strong focus on the molecular basis of therapeutic resistance, which I am keen to apply to antimicrobial drug resistance, particularly in mapping resistance pathways and identifying strategies to overcome them
