- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to acutely ill stroke patients
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and carry out nursing procedures
- Support safe discharge planning in collaboration with MDT
- Take clinical responsibility for bay areas, lead during shifts under ward manager supervision
- Mentor and support students and new staff with induction and clinical development
-Support nurses in delivery of holistic care, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
-Conduct patient assessments (A–E), MRSA swabs, wound care, falls risk, smoking and alcohol assessments
-Monitor vital signs, escalate concerns, and participate in emergency response
-Actively maintain dignity, privacy, and safeguarding protocols
