Gurshan Singh Sandhu

I moved from JHGS to RGS. As i found RGS specialises in Politics compared to JHGS.

I am currently a student at Royal Grammar School. I am working towards 3 and half A levels - Politics, Economics, Maths and EPQ.

I selected these A levels as have a passion to learn and for the following reasons:

• Maths - I like working with numbers and solving problems. I worked as a peer tutor in my last school in the maths department, helped fellow students and younger year groups to improve their grades.
• Politics - I want to learn how the government make decisions that impact our everyday living. I want to improve my public speaking skills and i love a debate!
• Economics - I want to learn how the most powerful tool in the world impacts the economy : Money

I look to demonstrate responsibility and commitment by maintaining good academic standing while balancing a part-time job and extracurricular activities.

Enhanced communication abilities. I volunteered to help at a children's camp for a week for children from the age of 5 to 16 years old. I demonstrated patience, compassion and how to direct children of all ages.

I have completed assignments, special projects and group work on time and achieved good marks. I have also communicated with teachers to obtain feedback, applying it to future projects.
