  • Event management: Led on production and end-to-end delivery of key annual events in the RSA calendar including the annual RDI Address, RSA Albert Medal, RSA Bicentenary Medal, and the 100th Student Design Awards Ceremony, as well as smaller workshops, roundtables, and design sessions with key stakeholders, both in-person and online, across the country.
  • Programme coordination: Managed delivery of a variety of projects and coordinated the RSA Student Design Awards (SDAs), the world’s oldest design competition, with over 100K participants. Responsibilities across my portfolio of projects included project planning, budget and resource management, stakeholder engagement, outreach, progress reporting, and administration.
  • Stakeholder and relationship management: Strong communicator with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships, notably managing and strengthening the RSA’s partnership with the Royal Designers for Industry (RDI), leveraging the faculty to inspire and support the next generation of creatives. Led the stakeholder engagement strategy for the East Midlands Combined Authority Inclusive Growth Commission (EMCCA).
  • Community engagement: Designated community champion for a 30,000-strong RSA fellowship on Circle, driving regular digital engagement. Designed and led the SDA 100-year outreach strategy, bringing in 100 new global education institutions onto the programme. Developed and delivered an EMCCA email outreach strategy converting 10% of regional stakeholders into RSA fellows.
  • Research & analysis: Collaborated with the Policy and Research team on EMCCA to design and facilitate focus groups, workshops, roundtables, and interviews with a range of stakeholders in the region, from practitioners to politicians, contributing to data analysis that fed into our interim report. Business development market research, identifying collaboration opportunities in turn supporting a £50k local authority partnership.
  • Creative production & marketing: Regular production of infographics and data visualisations for membership email campaigns, to communicate our events, work and impact creatively to key audiences. Regularly produce web and event copy across my portfolio of work.
