- Fault finding and repairing various electrical power tools including Hilti light/medium, heavy breakers and rotary hammers TE 30, 700 & 1000’S, Milwaukee 500, 545 & 750 Breakers, Numatic Wet/Dry Vacuums, 5 and 9-inch Angle Grinders, Reciprocating Saws, Circular Saws, Arbortech Saws 3kva and 5 kva Portable Transformers. Repairs including rewiring, replacing 16amp, 32amp & 240-amp plugs, replacing brushes, creating reports, fault(s) found, repairs carried out, cleaning the equipment and booking equipment out ready, for hire, making sure the relevant information, safety leaflets and correct safety stickers are in place.

- Duties revolve around assisting technicians/engineers in fault fixing and when needing to, call for assistance in more complex faults arise. Making sure totes and pallets make their way to relevant destinations, where faults do happen fixing them, keeping in mind this could have an effect on production elsewhere which can cause other faults. Technical cleaning, making sure engineering areas are relevantly clean and free from unnecessary debris which could be detrimental to us working in a safe environment and to complete paperwork indicating what areas have been cleaned.
- Helping technicians with more complex faults when bands, rollers and belts need replacing and in doing so working in a safe manner with regards to isolation of conveyors and power supplies.
