I am currently working in Helensburgh as a Project Engineer/ Site Manager. Currently, my role has involved:

• Supervised work of contractors and subcontractors to achieve targets against deadlines.
• Maintained strict site compliance with current safety legislation.
• Reported on progress, problems and information requirements.
• Managed site instructions, daily diary, record sheets and other forms of site reporting.
• Coordinated labour and construction materials to ensure site met targets outlined in production programme.
• Liaised with clients to determine scope of work and project requirements and provided regular updates during work.
• Determined project schedule and sequenced construction activities for optimal performance against objectives.
• Promoted best practice in health, safety and environmental matters in conjunction with SHEQ department.
• Led management of site quality assurance in conjunction with QA Manager.

Throughout my four years at McLaughlin and Harvey as a Site Engineer I have worked on five flagship projects varying in size between £32,000,000 and £120,000,000

• Responsible for Quality Assurance on site.
• Managed Sub-Contractors.
• Collaborated with clients, designers and quantity surveyors to reach project goals.
• Prepared and reviewed risk assessments to support safe and stable construction sites.
• Evaluated project compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Monitored and maintained health and safety standards for site compliance.
• Carried out diligent site surveys and research to predict and quickly resolve possible issues.
• Mapped construction reference points, grades and elevations.
• Proposed engineering solutions to address project challenges and foster on-time completion.
• Responsible for training and development of two Trainee Engineers.
