Following some successful installs while consulting I joined Sunlite to help grow their commercial solar department. I am responsible for managing the office team and leading the sales process from feasibility to installation. I have also helped optimise current processes on all sides of the business and have started to implement the use of AI to keep the business lean in a time of growth. and since starting have added over £15m to the sales pipeline.

My Responsibilities include:

  • Building and nurturing existing relationships with M&E / Facilities management companies.

Upon leaving Sustain I did some consulting for a few companies to help optimise their process and help grow their commercial offerings. I worked with a long-time client called Powerhub Solutions to help sub-contract their solar installation with these selected partners which led to being approached by Sunlite Group LTD following a number of successful installs to be their head of commercial.


My Responsibilities include:

  • Sitting appointments with commercial businesses at C-suite level.
  • Moving those customers through the sales cycle and closing.
  • Tracking the conversion rates of leads and presenting to the board.
  • Implement new process with the existing CRM system.
  • Help the marketing teams with the website copy and updates.
  • Complete feasibility surveys and designs for clients.
  • Liaise with installers and contractors on pre the pre installation process.
  • Run the detail design process working with external consultants to get from feasibility to installation.

Upon leaving my role at Green Pulse Energy I chose to move back into the commercial side of solar. After excelling in my knowledge and sales ability I was promoted to be head of Sales and Installs at Green Pulse Energy within 3 months of joining the business. Since joining Push energy I initially started on the residential team producing technical drawings and carrying out site surveys & over time my role has developed into the renewable side of the business. I progressed to managing the design team within the renewables department responsible for running projects with some of the biggest clients in the world including Amazon & Tesco.

  • Travelling across the UK to conduct measured building surveys for various retail & residential clients. This includes using equipment such a tape measure, disto, camera & 360 camera.
  • Writing detailed reports following site visits to determine potential problems & the feasibility of the design.
  • Managing the design process from initial stage to construction on portfolio of 50 retail stores & multiple solar projects over a 3 year period.
  • Internally approving drawings and carrying out reviews with the clients.
  • The role progressed to include project management working under the head of projects to help deliver from design through to installation.

  • As the only interior designer directly supporting the design manager and project managers my skills and technical knowledge has taken a real step forward. In my time here I have drawn over 50 feasibilities of which many have moved onto lease packs, full construction packs through to being built. I also was responsible for drawing the new ITSU Head Office construction pack and supporting the design manager throughout the project attending weekly site meetings. I have also re-designed the drawing border which is now used for all drawings. I have also completed 3d rendered visuals for various stores which have been submitted for planning approval.

  • Working under strict deadlines to meet board approval
