GREG DONE

Telford,Shropshire

Summary

I'm a highly motivated and well-organised professional with a strong foundation in CNC operation and production line work, complemented by precise communication and efficient time management skills, as well as an excellent eye for detail, which has been complimented and rewarded by management a few times. I also have a lot of useful experience in railway equipment and infrastructure from my voluntary experience on heritage railways working with rolling stock.

I can demonstrate expertise in both automated and manual machine processes, and in my position on the production line prior to my CNC role, I have developed a keen eye for detail in final product inspection.

I'm passionate about creative writing, filmmaking, DIY projects such as leather and metal crafting, and I have a particular fascination and love for railways, steampunk, and anything mechanical, and I like to think I bring a unique blend of technical proficiency and creativity to every task. I also have my own YouTube channel, to which I upload videos of my passions, all of which I film and edit myself to a semi-professional degree, using skills I learned from my time at university.

I am currently Telford-based but am looking to move to Nottingham and am seeking work in the area, and hoping to land a role in a field that I am able to effectively apply my experiences and bring my A-game to.
