Over the past 5 Years, I have dedicated a lot of my time to the Combined Cadet Force. I have spent years learning about strategy, insightful planning and most importantly working together and not for yourself. I have harnessed strong skills like discipline though simple things like pride in the uniform I wear, being punctual and the discipline to genuinely listen to my fellow cadets and staff so I can be effective and address situations without impulse. I also invested into learning about the art of communication through leadership positions. I have had the responsibility to deliver lessons and address difficult problems within large groups to help maintain harmony and keep people interested. Finally, I was faced with many stimulating and high stress situations (activities like large scale ambushes etc) which has helped to refine my ability to stay calm and intelligent under high pressure
