Summary

A highly experienced professional with a wealth of knowledge that spans both multi-national environments, and latterly SME business. Having progressed from Production Manager to Operations Manager to Managing Director to Group Managing Director and most recently to Group Chief Operating Officer, I have excellent awareness of the challenges faced across varying levels of leadership and from the ground upwards. I have also been instrumental in the business growing from £5m turnover to £50m turnover through increased market share and business acquisition / turnrounds. In moving from a single site based in Manchester to a multi-site operation based in Manchester, Powys, West Thurrock and County Kildare (ROI), I have been exposed to the due diligence process on many occasions and to various challenges around business and geographical culture, all of which have provided invaluable experience in managing change across all disciplines. I have been responsible for delivering ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 accreditations, Investors in People recognition and FSC certification as well as more recently embarking upon ISO50001 accreditation as a framework to reduce carbon emissions. I am a collaborative, people focused, profit minded business leader, looking to utilise my broad ranging skills within an SME environment where I can help the company grow, add value and deliver on expected outcomes.
