As Account Executive I covered a territory of West & South Yorkshire and my role involved growing my portfolio and building long term business relationships with property professionals such as chartered surveyors, banks, financial institutions, pension funds, retailers and Government bodies through regular account management and training.
I was responsible for managing, developing and maintaining a sales territory that covered the north of England and
Scotland selling various software products across the PSG portfolio to both existing clients and new prospects. This was done by on-site and online presentations which were a consultative process requiring an in-depth investigation of both the current and future requirements of each prospect, the identification and then recommendation of the most suitable solution and managing the post-sale project roll out of the software implementation.
The presentations could be to both small and large sales teams as well as to business owners and boards of directors and therefore I am an articulate communicator who can build immediate rapport. I am also a good listener and have developed excellent presentation skills.
My role also involved the identification of new business opportunities through visits to prospective clients while on-site with the aim of discussing their current software solutions, identifying sales opportunities and tracking these via our CRM.
