I am an enthusiastic and dedicated nineteen year old. Who has experience within both healthcare and hospitality. This prior experience has provided me with key skills and I have successfully completed multiple training courses such as fire safety awareness and health and safety within the workplace, to ensure my skills and knowledge are updated and to the best standard. As a restaurant host, I was responsible for managing front of house operations and ensuring a welcoming and outstanding experience for all guests. My duties included greeting guests upon arrival, handling dietary requirements, managing seating arrangements, serving meals and beverages and coordinating efficiently amongst servers to ensure smooth service flow. I was in charge of monitoring the dining area to anticipate guest needs and provide assistance, contributing to an overall positive dining experience. I also completed many training courses, such as, health and safety in the workplace and equality, diversity and inclusive practice.
As a server, I was responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. My role included taking accurate food and drink orders, delivering meals promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction. I maintained knowledge of the menu to assist customers with dietary requirements. I also dealt with payment transactions and upheld cleanliness in the restaurant.
