I attended Newent Community School before going on to college to study childcare while also working at The Kilcot Inn. I decided that childcare was not the career path I wanted to pursue, so I left college and began a management apprenticeship at The King's Arms.
Since then, I have gained experience in hospitality, progressing from waitressing into bar work and management responsibilities. I now train new staff, help manage floor operations, and ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
I am currently looking for a flexible part-time role of around 16 hours per week that fits around my childcare responsibilities, as my one-year-old son has recently started nursery while my partner works full time.
Originally employed as a waitress, I progressed into a bar role after turning 18 and have since worked my way into the management team. In my current position, I help manage floor operations, support daily service, and train and mentor new members of staff.
