Work history

Performing Arts (West end operatic Society)

(Weos)
Newcastle upon Tyne

I am a member of west end operatic society (WEOS) and have been singing and Acting since I was Three-years-old at past dance schools like Hunter Theatre Arts but most recently Supreme Performing Arts for the past six years. I am also a member of "The Young Phoenix" being apart of these companies, I show commitment to regular rehearsal dates with having 2-3 rehearsals a week. I understand that committing to a show will have to fit around Work dates and that will a priority alongside my extra curricular activities. Being apart of a Theatre company has allowed me to Juggle numerous Priorities at once such as school work, shows, and Dancing and I feel that I would be able to include a part time job into my schedule being able to commit 100% with Displayed energy and enthusiasm even in a fast-paced environment. I believe these shows have been able to influence myself and given me the opportunity to work alongside people of many different ages and backgrounds allowing myself to change my communication skills accordingly to best communicate with each and everyone of them this has taken me outside of my comfort zone at times but I have adapted skills and learned new ones and now feel comfortable communicating with anyone. When working on a Show we also have a director whose job it is to Critique and give feedback. I have always responded positively to any constructive feedback and feel this demonstrates my ability to work under direction for example with a Team manager or supervisor in the work environment.

Helping younger students at school

Mr Shepard
St Benet Biscop Catholic Academy

Mr Shepard has given me the opportunity to Develop my skills working alongside students and members of staff, to facilitate lunch time and break time supervision working with students who are more vulnerable in the school environment. In addition I do one-to-one work supporting younger students with their reading ability. One particular student, is working under their reading age by a significant number, I have had to adapt my ways of communicating to help support this child. Demonstrating respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever they need my support whether in session or not. I have had to handle challenging situations by resolving the issue whilst trying to deliver Reading Skills, Fonix but also trying to create a relationship between myself and the student whilst trying to maintain the child's targets with accuracy and efficiency. I am Payed by the Head Teacher onto my lunch account at school for my service which i take great pride and Pleasure in delivering.
