My work duties involve:

• Regular stable maintenance, mucking out, cleaning, sweeping & following hygiene standards within the yard.
• Riding horses in different settings, hill gallop, round gallop, arenas, hacking. Following training schedules to improve performance of horses in races.
• Preparing feeds and maintaining horses supply of hay & water.
• Practising race strategies with the jockey leading to more successful outcomes.
• Adhering to health & safety at all times including rider safety.
• Demonstrated excellent control and judge of pace to follow trainers instructions.
• Grooming horses daily & groomed horses in preparation for riding, competitions or photoshoots.
• Tacking up & untacking horses, checking saddle, bridle & all equipment are safe, including regular tack cleaning.
• Leading horses in hand.
