GRACE MARCH

Summary

Thank you for taking the time to read my Curriculum Vitae. I am a passionate and motivated individual who is committed to supporting young people and helping them find positive paths in life. I am currently completing the final year of my Criminology degree, which I will finish in April, and I am eager to begin a career in youth justice where I can contribute to helping young people overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Throughout my studies, I have developed a strong interest in understanding the social, emotional, and environmental factors that can influence young people’s behaviour and life choices. This has strengthened my desire to work and support youths, where I can help guide young people who may be facing difficult circumstances, and support them in making positive changes in their lives.

I strongly believe that early intervention, empathy, and positive role models can make a significant difference in a young person’s future. Many young people who come into contact with the justice system may have experienced barriers such as lack of support, challenging home environments, or limited opportunities. I am passionate about being someone who can provide guidance, encouragement, and practical support to help them build confidence and make better decisions.

During my studies I have developed key skills that are essential for working with young people, including communication, patience, active listening, and problem solving. I understand the importance of building trust and creating a safe and supportive environment where young people feel heard and respected. I am also able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations, while maintaining a non-judgemental and supportive approach.

As I approach the completion of my final year in April, I am excited about the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills in a practical setting. I am particularly interested in roles that focus on prevention, rehabilitation, and supporting young people to reintegrate positively into their communities.

Ultimately, my goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people by helping them recognise their potential, develop resilience, and build brighter futures for themselves. I am highly motivated to contribute to youth justice services and to work alongside professionals who are dedicated to supporting and empowering young people.
