Summary
My most recent experience in education focused on supporting primary and secondary school students and their families with wellbeing techniques. My main focuses were supporting young people and parents in problem-solving, worry management, and emotional regulation strategies. My role also included helping parents to implement positive behaviour strategies that enhance self-esteem and reinforce positive attributes in young people. I am a qualified primary school teacher with a background in teaching Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 phonics and learning through play. Within my roles, I have learnt to effectively foster knowledge, skills, and confidence in children from EYFS to year six, and supported the facilitation of smooth transitions to higher year groups and secondary education.
