My responsibilites as a junior at Solo Hair Design involved greeting clients and checking them into the salon as they arrived. I had the responsibility of keeping the salon clean and tidy and running smoothly by ensuring the clients' needs were met and that stylists had all equipment and help they needed, including helping wash clients hair, make clients tea/coffee etc.

I also had the responsibility of being the salon receptionist. I had to answer and make phone calls, book appointments, deal with payments and work an online booking system.

I also supported senior staff during busy periods to maintain punctuality with scheduled appointments and would often help to blow dry or help finish styling clients hair by working alongside all team members.
