I'm Dr Gopi, a motivated and clinically adept medical doctor with over 2.5 years of NHS experience and full GMC registration. With a strong foundation in Emergency Medicine, Acute Care, and Trauma & Orthopaedics, I have consistently demonstrated the ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in fast-paced, high-pressure clinical settings.
Having completed Foundation Training (FY1–FY2) at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, I have developed sound clinical judgment, effective multidisciplinary collaboration, and hands-on procedural proficiency. My skills include arterial and venous access, lumbar puncture, suprapubic catheterisation, wound closure, joint reductions, and transvaginal ultrasound in early pregnancy care. I have independently managed antenatal patients, prescribed in obstetric clinics, and assisted in operative obstetrics including caesarean sections and manual removal of placenta (MROP).
I am particularly passionate about managing high-acuity cases and continuously improving clinical standards through evidence-based practice, structured teaching, and Quality Improvement initiatives. I have delivered formal teaching across emergency, surgical, and resuscitation topics to junior doctors and medical students. Alongside my acute care career, I am actively pursuing a parallel interest in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, with the aim of contributing meaningfully to both individual patient outcomes and broader workforce health.
Completed a 12-month supervised internship with clinical exposure across core hospital rotations.
