Best known for adopting informed approach to work, and finds the most rewarding aspect of her career is leading from the front, modelling and participating in activities that eliminate negative work systems and cultures, systemic and structural racism, enhance team dynamics, create quality team relationships, enable mindset shifts towards modelling positive behaviour from board levels to all teams.
Goodie is an author, and her first book – “Navigating the Problems and Solutions of Work-Life -Balance for Nurses”. Goodie's book has been included in academic databases such as EBSCO and ProQuest.
Goodie has over 7 years of experience in Equality and Diversity Management. Goodie is the Founder and Director of Protect Accent CIC – a company that specializes in providing bespoke, CPD-accredited, on-site, and online Accent Bias training.
Goodie oversees Protect Accent's research program and covers the training department. Goodie is also the creator of the "World Accents Celebration Day and the "Accent Charter ". Goodie is currently a research student at the University of Bradford, her research topic is focused on the impact of accent discrimination and inclusion in organizations. Goodie is determined to continue to make a difference in her field on a global scale. Goodie credits her success to believing in herself and forward thinking and a proactive mindset.
