I immigrated from South Africa in 2018 and soon discovered that building a career in the UK required locally recognised experience. This naturally created two distinct chapters in my professional story: a successful South African chapter (1997-2020) and an exciting UK chapter (2020-present). The unique market conditions during Covid-19 accelerated my decision to pivot into an individual contributor role, enabling me to quickly gain UK-based experience and establish a strong foundation for long-term growth.
