I enjoy working in the industry and am always keen on learning new things and undergo new training etc
I always follow company procedures throughout my work and do not take anything for granted on both gas and electric sides
I provide the customer with Energy Efficiency Advice on each job and an In Home Diplay demonstration
Full PPE is always worn on each job and explanation given in detail to the customer about the work I am carrying out and how their new smart meters work.
Sales Executive
Applecore Foods ltd
Burmarrad
09.2015 - 02.2018
This role was a new experience as I was working with the company car on the outside visiting retail and catering outlets to sell the company's products and pick up orders for the following day
It was challenging and fun to do as you meet many different people in the process with different characters and you have to adapt yourself differently to the person in front of you
Whether you've known them for quite a while and maybe have some confidence , to meeting a new client and just getting to know them.
Warehouse Supervisor
AppleCore Foods Ltd
Burmarrad
01.2014 - 09.2015
Here it was pretty much identical to my role at Piscopo's previously but on a larger scale as this company imports food stuffs and then sells to supermarkets, grocers, restaurants and hotels
At Applecore Foods I learned to operate the fork lifter and unloaded many containers weekly , numbering each pallet with the expiry date and number of cases before putting on the racking in the respected store
(Chilled, Dry or Frozen ) Here I also had to give drivers their routes for their coming day and supervise the store men on doing picklists correctly and up to standards ensuring the product is taken care of and handled carefully before loading the vans
When it was required due to sick leave or leave I would go out with the van myself for the day delivering the goods so I believe I ' ve gained experience in every sector of the stores with Applecore.
Warehouse Supervisor’s Assistant
Piscopo's Cash & Carry
St. Paul’s Bay
11.2012 - 12.2013
Here I was entrusted with stock control and regular stock takes which was a bit challenging but fun at the same time as you feel satisfied when you start understanding how much stock you need to order and not running out of stock at the same time
I also had two people working in the same store with me which I had to supervise and see that they are doing a good job with filling the supermarket's shelves correctly , keeping the store tidy and keeping an eye out for expiry dates
