Summary

I have worked within the NHS and GP practices for over 30 years starting as a medical receptionist, medical secretary/administrator within many specialities including Dermatology, Colorectal, DCN and Community Drug Problem Service which has given me the opportunity to gain a lot of knowledge within these areas and then moving on to my current post as Assistant Practice Manager.

I was initially employed in Linden as a Medical Secretary but in light of COVID I was given the opportunity to look at policies and organize the front desk and back office which I enjoyed very much and took this forward to my current role which again was developing the practice to incorporate policies such as the optimization of docman and the training in coding and summarising.

I did work in Pensions for 5 years and also in accounts previous to this but I have always enjoyed working within the NHS.
