- To work alongside and lead a team of seven members of staff delivering high quality early education and childcare within a nursery class setting.

-Working closely with the depute and headteacher of the school to ensure cohesive management.

- To be responsible for auditing planning and assessment practices.

- Responsible for ensuring health and safety and hygiene control systems are in place.

- I am a registered first aider.

- Covering staff absence and staff breaks within the room.

- Building positive relationships with Parents/Carers and children to offer the best support.

- To be aware of my responsibilities and support staff in all child protection issues.

- To work within the SSSC code of practice.

- Carry out regular staff performance reviews.

-To work closely with other agencies to provide the best possible outcomes for children and ensure that highest quality of early learning and childcare.

To work as an effective member of an Early Years team delivering a high-quality child service which meets the needs of children and their families.

To be responsible for planning and implementation and effective delivery of relevant high quality curricular programme which meets the needs of individual children in line with local and national standards.

Responsibility for observing, assessing, recording and reporting on individual children's learning and development in line with national and local guidance and pre-determined policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of an effective early years learning.

To work with children and families, and other professional agencies to provide the best possible outcomes for children and ensure that highest quality of early learning and childcare.

To work with a new team setting up and delivering high quality early education and childcare within a new private nursery setting
