I am 19 years old currently working in the hospitality industry as a front of house team member. I would consider myself as an approachable person as well as efficient and who carries high standards of what is expected of me in a role. I have just over a years worth of experience in hospitality as a front of house team member but I have always tried to be a bartender as that has always seem more interesting and fun. I work extremely well with my peers and have always has positive interactions with customers no matter who they are.
My role as a FOH team member was to greet and seat customers, take orders, run food and drink, and sort bills. I was also expected to clean and reset parts of the back of house, as well as clean and reset tables, and handle any allergies a customer might have. I mainly worked closing shifts, so most of my experience comes from doing a variety of closing tasks. I work five days a week, totalling around 27 to 30 hours, but I am more than eager to do more if expected of me.
