At Marco’s, my role involves both kitchen support and food preparation. I am responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness through efficient pot washing, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly during busy service times. Additionally, I assist with basic food preparation tasks, supporting the chefs in preparing meals for customers. This role has helped me develop strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
In the second half of June and into early July, I gained valuable insight into the insurance industry by shadowing professionals on both the broking and underwriting sides. During this time, I had the opportunity to attend client meetings, observe real-world interactions, and speak with recent graduates about their experiences working in an office environment, something I found genuinely enjoyable and inspiring.
I worked at Ninja Warrior UK in Chelmsford for seven months as part of the Customer Services team. My role focused on ensuring the safety and well-being of children as they navigated the obstacle course. This involved actively monitoring the course, providing guidance and support, and maintaining a fun yet secure environment for all participants.
