I currently supervise a small team of skilled avionic technicians in the production & maintenance of special mission system parts for the UK SAR2G and other programmes to meet or exceed customer, regulatory and company standards where I act as Certifying Staff and issue UK CAA Form 1 certificates for new and repaired parts.

I led a team of Aircraft Technicians working on the new eVTOL Aircraft (VX4) where we install electrical harnesses (LV/HV), test and commission a variety of avionic systems and prepare for test flight where I hold scope to operate & inspect all aspects of avionic installations/systems while co-ordinating any job packs or maintenance that is required on the aircraft.

I maintained tech logs to document all aircraft maintenance on the aircraft and signed the Release to Service Certificate to hand the aircraft over to Flight Ops.

After completing my Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship with AgustaWestland (Leonardo Helicopters), I have worked many types of aircraft and gained lots of avionic technical knowledge during my 10+ years there whether it was working on VIP, SAR, Civil or Military platforms. As Team Leader (Avionics) I led a team of technicians to install, modify and build electrical harnesses & hardware following company standards, procedures and drawings.

I completed system test on all types of avionic systems following IETP's / AMM's through initial power on through to flight test whilst troubleshooting any issues found.

I ran the aircraft build book / log book carrying out AF/BF inspections & maintaining any scheduled/unscheduled service required.
