Among my responsibilities in my position are:

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of care provision within the Operation Theatre Department and the coordination of the clinical and non-clinical management of the theatre team, in addition to strategic planning for the execution of patient-safe clinical care provision of the Theatre service in keeping with business needs.
• Facilitating the hospital's business goals while providing unambiguous leadership to the whole theatre personnel. The position is accountable for the growth, motivation, and output of the Theatre Team, as well as the fulfillment of CQC Standards.
• Expense and time effective financial management, as well as strategic planning for the theatre, are essential to ensuring continuous, high-quality service.
• Health & Safety champion responsible for the perioperative environment (Audits, risk assessments, etc.)
• Completion of weekly staff utilisation spreadsheets and meeting labour management goals (Power Bi). Led recruitment, onboarding and performance management for a multidisciplinary theatre team. Conducted appraisals, monthly reviews, audits and surveys for quality improvement, incidents investigations, training planning and compliance checks. Managed staff scheduling, payroll (Workday), sickness and holiday records. Collaborated with HR for policy updates, conflict resolution and retention strategy.
• Promoted high morale and staff retention through dynamic communication, prompt problem resolution, proactive supervisory practices and facilitation of positive work environment.
• Implemented new policies and educated staff on changes.
• Created work schedules for the employees and oversaw functioning of billing department.
