Georgina Daniels

Live Events, Culture and Entertainment Producer

Summary

Hello! I'm Georgina, I go by G, George, Gene or Gina. Thanks for reading my CV. I'm really proud of all the experiences and roles that I have acquired in my 25 short years of being on planet earth, and I hope you will find them relevant to the role I am applying for. I have a lot to say about who I am, I hope you don't mind!

Since school age, I have immersed myself in forms of creativity, entertainment and performance. I started learning the guitar aged 9, discovered I had perfect pitch and since then have carried a tune like a jukebox. Most days, I can't go 2 steps without listening to music and have a wide and eclectic taste.

During university, I took on a thriving student society named the Rock Society, and shared my love of music with other students through event organising, gig going and socials galore. In addition, I was social secretary for the Jewish Society and organised events and outreach based on my cultural connection and faith.

I have involved myself in the entertainment and cultural sector through freelance work with live music promoters as a stage manager at numerous venues, and improved on customer interaction and effective communication with other key members of live events, e.g. security, front of house, sound engineers, venue managers and facility staff. I have worked in various music venues in Front Of House roles, as well as taking on some hospitality work, healthcare roles and even a Pub Crawl Leader!

In short, I am looking for the next chapter in my work life that builds on existing events management skills with a company that will help to guide, support and encourage my already excellent understanding of London's entertainment hive.
