A confident, enthusiastic, motivated commercial administrator who possesses just over 7 years track record of working in an administrative role but I am now looking to leave the office administrator role and pursue a career in a trainee/assistant surveyor role. I have just finished my 2nd year of my BSc Construction Management degree and and will going into my final year in August 2021. I currently work along side senior quantity surveyors, assistant surveyors and trainees assisting with subcontractor accruals, issuing contra-charges, updating subcontractor health and safety documents, and preparing interim subcontractor payments and overhead payments. I also have a small amount of experience visiting construction sites and procurement.
Within my current job role it requires me to have a highly organised approach and I have to ensure that any work that is given to me is completed on time and to a high standard. I work well with others and with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels, but can also perform effectively on my own. I am very keen to have the chance to progress within a company, which makes me driven to do the very best in all my work and a desire to contribute in all aspects to the ongoing success of the company.
I'm a cheerful hard working young women with a kind friendly nature who will always try my best, give my all and go that extra mile any given tasks. I always persevere and not to give up on the first hurdle.
For the past 2 years and 8 months in my current role, I have become more and more passionate about working in the building profession, which led me to study for a construction management degree. Although working alongside surveyors can be a highly challenging job, it can also be a fun and rewarding too.
I am looking for a role where I can show my full potential, build and progress within the company.
