George Marwan Vayanos

I am currently a Mathematics and Physics student at the University of St Andrews, aspiring to use my analytical and problem-solving skills to benefit the workforce as much as possible. I am a highly organized and detail-oriented person with a strong work ethic, and I enjoy working in a team with other individuals. I am particularly interested in research, and especially in Mathematical Modelling and its numerous applications to different sectors, such as economics and finance, and physical research, particularly in quantum physics and fluid dynamics. I am skilled in data analysis as well as problem-solving skills, which I intend to use fully to meet goals.

• I am a competitive chess player, with a FIDE Rating of 2123 in Classical. I have represented my birth country Lebanon in several international competitions in the past, and I now represent Greece. I also play in several different national chess leagues, such as French with Cannes, Scottish with Dundee and Greek with Kallithea. My next big objective is to earn the FIDE Master title.
